Pay quickly and securely in shops using Google Pay

No more taking out your card. For payments in shops via Google Pay, your card details are not disclosed, so they always stay secure.
You can find an overview of your payments in George – searching is easy and intuitive. Just enter the amount, text, and date in your search field and George will find anything relevant.

All you need to know about Google Pay
Look for these symbols at the checkout:
On many mobiles the Google Pay app comes pre-installed. If you do not have it, download it from Google Play (you need to have a device with Android Lollipop 5.0 or later, with NFC support).
- Just enter Google Pay in the search box (at the top of the screen).
- Tap on the app and then the Install button.
- After confirming by tapping the I Agree button, the app will start to install.
- Add your card to the app. If you already have a debit card assigned to your Google account, add it by entering the requested data.
- We will then send you a one-off SMS code to complete the installation. If you want, you can also complete it by phone at the Slovenská sporiteľňa Client Centre.
- Unlock the phone.
- Place the rear against the contactless payment terminal.
- All done.
- If an app allows payment via Google Pay, click on one of these payment buttons: GPay / Pay on Google (symbols)
- Before confirming the order, you may have to choose a payment method and enter the delivery address.
Sporotip: In some applications you can save your payment and delivery details for future purchases.
